Hi, I'm Akhil. I build systems with intentionality.
A Computer Science student from India, Linux enthusiast, and amateur electronics tinkerer. I spend my time optimizing kernels, self-hosting everything, and making sense of low-level abstractions.
terminal About me
My journey into engineering started with a curiosity about how things work under the hood. What began as simple Python scripts evolved into a deep fascination with Linux internals, server architecture, and compilers.
Currently based in India, I'm pursuing my CS degree while maintaining a home lab that serves as my testing ground for high-availability systems and distributed computing. I believe that good software isn't just about code—it's about the empathy we have for the machine and the user.

token Tech & Tools
Low-level and high-level tools I leverage to construct applications.
explore What I'm Exploring
A directory of active development targets, home cluster environments, and modular codes.
Operating Systems
Deep diving into memory management and thread scheduling. Building a monolithic RISC-V emulator in C++ for educational purposes.
Self-hosted Systems
Curating a local virtualization ecosystem with Proxmox VE, Docker containers, reverse proxy tunnels, and Ceph distributed storage.
Low-level Modules
Mastering the dance between hardware and software through Linux kernel modules, drivers, and fine-grained C optimizations.
